Grace and gratitude

Each day is truly a blessing. It was five years ago that I began my first round of cancer treatment. Six rounds of treatment later I am cancer-free and doing very well. It is the result of prayers, grace and support from so many family members, family, and medical pros. I am forever grateful that God who in His grace put all of these wonderful people in my life.

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalm 73:26

  1. You are a blessing to me and all your friends. My life is enriched knowing you both. I’m so glad you’re continuing to be strong. We never know the path God will take us on but we continue on with His help. Lots of love and hugs to you both.

  2. Thanks, Kitty. Five years back, I could not have imagined that I would travel that journey from then to now: all the ups and downs, the fears and relief, and the many excellent, loving people that helped me along the way. I met new friends, yes. I also saw the friends I already knew come to my aid in unselfish and sometimes unexpected ways. They really showed their friendship to me in way for which I will always be grateful.
